Posing as Food Critics

In February, Mrs. Jarosik took the Free Writing group on a field trip! During refectum, the group looked at some examples of 1 star and 5-star reviews of restaurants. After discussing the components of a good food critique, they drove down the street to Starbucks armed with a pen and their composition notebooks. Each student ordered a drink and a cake pop, making notes on the service, cleanliness, and ambiance of the coffee shop. Then, the group returned to ACA for the fun part: reviewing their food!
